Young Football Commentators of the Year

All Saints' RC Secondary is exceptionally proud of two of our S2 learners who have recently been crowned Young Football Commentators of the Year 2011. Nathan Bradley and Regan Glackin were involved in a lengthy process of researching, writing and recording a football commentary for a match of their choice. The competition was fierce with over thirty schools in attendance at Celtic Park on Thursday 24th March. However, the boys' tenacity and determination to succeed ensured that they were awarded what was rightly theirs. Nathan and Regan both won a package of VIP family tickets alongside their names being engraved on a brick at Celtic Park.

Paul Cuddihy, editor of the Celtic View fanzine, commended the efforts of all the young people involved and was adamant that the boys would have a promising future in football commentating should they choose to go down this path.

This is yet another example of the outstanding talents our young people bring to our school community and what happens when they put them to the test. We are very proud of the boys and are sure that our extended community will be too.
